L´Universitá di Vienna é stata fondata dal Duca Rodolfo IV nel 1365.
E ‘la più antica università di lingua tedesca e una delle più grandi in Europa Centrale.
L´Universitá di Vienna ha celebrato il suo 650mo anniversario nel 2015.
Attualmente, 92.000 studenti sono iscritti presso l’Università di Vienna. Si puó scegliere
tra 187 corsi di laurea: 55 corsi di laurea, 116 programmi di master, 4 programmi di diploma e 12 di dottorato .
Con 9.700 dipendenti, 6.900 dei quali sono accademici, l’Università di Vienna constituisce il centro più grande d´istruzione e ricerca in Austria.
Per gli studenti austriaci e quegli di cittadinanza di paesi membri dell´Unione Europea e dell´AEE, che non superano di più di due semestri, la durata del loro corso di studi, sono esenti di tasse.
Superato tal periodo di proroga , si deve pagare 363,36 euro per ogni semestre.
Per gli studenti provenienti da paesi esclusi dall´UE, in possesso di permesso di soggiorno,
ci si richiede la somma di 726,72 euro per ogni semester.
Per gli studenti provenienti da terzi paesi previsti di residenza, tranne il permesso di soggiorno (Aufenthaltsbewilligung Studierender) o di altro grupo di persone: si deve pagare la somma di 363,36 euro per ogni semestre
