The Integrated Masters studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Egas Moniz University of Pharmacy in Portugal (IUEM) is currently one of the most prestigious Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Portugal. It has a tradition of academic excellence in the training of professionals that began more than 20 years ago. They have already trained more than 1,000 professionals in pharmaceutical sciences. According to the employ-ability study (Nielsen) carried out with graduates of the last 5 years, it appears that our pharmacists have an employ-ability rate of 97% in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, achieving a stable contract after 3 months.
Egas Moniz University have evolved successfully since the foundation of the Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, always with the aim of meeting the new challenges that arise, both in the education sector and in the pharmaceutical sector. The ability to adapt to change and develop new teaching approaches, adapted to the real needs of the labor market, has been a key factor in the success of our Master. Proof of this was the creation, in 2014, of an Internship Program in the Pharmaceutical Industry in partnership with APIFARMA, with the ANL – National Association of Clinical Laboratories and Military Laboratory of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Products, which includes internships for students who completed the 1st cycle (comprising 3 years) of the Integrated Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF), enabling them to have a professional experience, in between, integrated into their academic training. This program also includes extracurricular internships for students who have completed the 2nd cycle of the MICF in order to facilitate their insertion into active professional life. Other internship programs in different areas of professional activity are still in the process of being implemented.
Egas Moniz University of Pharmacy in Portugal trains health professionals and as such the center of the profession is the patient. The professional in Pharmaceutical Sciences can intervene in multiple areas of health, with a main emphasis on the patient and the drug: from its development to its use to prevent and treat diseases. It can also work in multiple laboratory areas, namely clinical, environmental and food analyses, as well as the entire industrial and commercial sector related.

DURATION OF STUDY AND TUITION FEES:
The duration of study for pharmacy is 5 years and tuition is 561 Euros per month.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:
